Jerry is named after railroad forefather, Gerald “Jerry” Kennedy. Jerry Kennedy was involved with the organization from the very beginning taking on the treasurer and secretary position on the board. He then stepped down from the board to take on the executive director position where he oversaw the restoration of the carousel. What better tribute than to name one of the carousel horses after the man responsible for putting it together?
Jerry was adopted on December 1st, 2022.
