The Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad would never be what it is today without the assistance of thousands of people throughout the years.
Whether your passion is volunteering, railroads, history or working with children, the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad has something to offer for persons interested in getting involved within the community.
The railroad and carousel employ a part-time paid staff of roughly 15 persons. Many of these employees are high school or college students looking to gain practical work experience. They are primarily responsible for operating the rides, selling tickets and providing direct customer service.
The remainder of our staff consists almost entirely of volunteers. Their tasks range from maintaining all of the railroad and carousel’s equipment, grounds-keeping, giving tours and everything in between. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and ensure that this organization keeps moving forward.
It is also possible to get involved by contributing funds and/or services to the organization. Donating is another great way to help keep the railroad and carousel alive for generations to come.
